Week 2: Mind - Day 2: Challenge

“I said that I opened my intellect as I opened my mouth, in order to shut it again on something solid” - G.K. Chesterton

There is something magical about watching a baby learn the basic actions of life. Their wide eyes are soaking in every ounce of light they can get as they experience so many things for the first time. You can watch their brains grow and their intellect mature at a remarkable rate!

God blessed us with not only a body and a soul but with an intellectual mind. The ability to learn, teach, challenge theories, and to rationally prove.

One thing that I find about our gift of intellect is being able to share that with others. Being able to teach and to be taught can be an intimate moment and can be brilliant fuel for a relationship. Taking the time to teach or learn shows you care enough about the topic or the person to try.

Our challenge to you is for you to show us how you use your intellect to better your relationship with Christ this week!

Wholesome reading? Crossword puzzles? Meditations? Bible Study?
How is it that you are preparing your mind for Christ?
Post a picture and tag @Swole.Catholic in it to be entered into the drawing to win a free S.C shirt of your choice. Drawing closes Saturday 12/15, every post/tag counts as one entry.
